CNN is doubling down on ProPublica’s widely disproven story that a Georgia mom died because of the state’s fetal heartbeat bill. With little pushback, CNN’s Kate Bolduan interviewed ProPublica’s senior editor and allowed her to retell the baseless story that was promoted by Kamala Harris.
The reality is the young mother who died believed the sensational lies from the left about Georgia’s abortion legislation. Opponents of the heartbeat bill claim you cannot have a D&C or any other procedure to hinder a pregnancy at all. Except, the bill clearly states that the life of the mother must always be protected and explicitly mandates this protection.
This mother believed the lies of the left and chose to delay seeking treatment for the effects of the abortion pill which ultimately cost her her life. The real story here is the inherently dangerous side effects of abortion pills that Democrats claim are as safe as Tyelonol. It wasn’t until Barack Obama caved to special interest groups that strict warnings and guidelines for these pills were removed.
But instead of acknowledging the clearly stated protections in the heartbeat bill, CNN, ProPublica, and Kamala Harris will continue to obfuscate the truth and push fearmongering stories like this. Sadly, Amber Thurmon will not be the last person to die because of it.
