MEMPHIS, Tenn — A man was shot to death near a Hickory Hill apartment complex on Thursday night, Memphis Police confirm.
At 7:11 p.m., officers say they responded to a shooting in the block of 6300 Blackbird Drive near Parkway Apartments.
A man was found suffering from a gunshot wound and pronounced dead at the scene.
Police say there are still many unanswered questions, so they encourage anyone with camera footage or information to share it with them.
“We understand that this incident causes not only the family but the community pain and we want to bring closure to the family as soon as possible,” said Major Billy Byrd.
