Meet Ross, MNPD’s newest addition to their Mounted Patrol Unit

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – The Metro Nashville Police Department introduced its newest addition to the Mounted Patrol Unit on Wednesday.

Ross is 3-years-old and is MNPD’s first ever Clydesdale. He came from Mounted Patrol International in Texas where he was trained.

According to MNPD, Ross was bought and donated from Giving Matters.

Giving Matters is an online database of “high-quality, and comprehensive information” about more than 2000 Middle Tennessee nonprofits.
