I am amazed at the many responses to my post yesterday. My heartfelt thanks to the words you wrote. Several asked what else did they find……. not anything good.
In addition to the Covid and A Fib – two valves in my heart are in need of repair (not going to have the repair methods done). Also water in my lungs. this all started out with an inability to breath without pain over my left chest area.
This all brought about three trips in an ambulance — 4 trips to the hospital – two of which involved a week or so stay in the hospital and two ER stays.
Can’t complain at 84 years of age.
On Dec 31st a nun entered my room and I told her I am not Catholic and disagree with their doctrine. No problem – we visited for half an hour on all sorts of topics. As she got ready to leave she said you have a birthday in a couple days? Yes I do and she broke out in a strong voice singing Happy Birthday to me. Everyone on the 10th floor of the hospital had to hear it. Will remember this for some time.
