significant quantity of crystal methamphetamine, fentanyl, and firearms has reportedly been seized in Nashville.

Nashville police and the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI) described the operation as the largest methamphetamine bust in the city’s history. More than a dozen individuals have been indicted.

At a press conference on Wednesday, Police Chief John Drake revealed that one method used to get drugs into the city involved shipping them to the addresses of uninvolved residents, with suspects waiting to snatch the packages from porches as the trucks drove away.

Drake added that police have intercepted more than 800 pounds of crystal meth and more than 24 pounds of fentanyl since November 2022.
