New York business owners beware. The democrat monopoly has weaponized the justice system and may come after you too.

WHAT ABOUT THE CHANGE?
The verse for today:
“I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.” – Galatians 2:20
Question: If you were arrested for being a Christian, would there be enough evidence to convict you? The evidence of a true Christian is a changed life.
Thirty-five years ago, a friend of mine told me that he met a man who knew me when I was young. Then my friend asked me if the stories he was told about me were true. Embarrassed, I said, “The next time you see that person tell him that the Gary Varvel, he once knew, is dead.” We all have a past. We’re all sinners. But to be crucified with Christ means that our old way of life is dead.
In my opinion, the “He Gets Us Super Bowl Commercial” failed to show a changed life. In fact, it makes Jesus look like He not only accepts but approves of our sin. Sure He loves us sinners but He didn’t die for our sins so we could keep on sinning. The “He Gets Us” ad omitted the part of the gospel that calls for us to repent and leave our life of sin. It failed to mention that Jesus said, “Go and sin no more.” (John 8:11)
In my February 16th newsletter, I posted the link to Pastor Jamie Bambrick’s video of people who had been changed by Jesus Christ. This powerful response to “He Gets US” showed people who used to be a witch, a jihadist, a KKK member, a drug addict, a gang member, a drag queen, a transgender, an abortionist, a porn star, a new age guru and a lesbian — then it ends with the words: Jesus doesn’t just gets us, He saves us, He transforms us, He cleanses us, He restores us, He forgives us, He heals us, He delivers us, He redeems us, He loves us…and such were some of you. The Bible says:
“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.” 2 Corinthian 5:17.
To be “crucified with Christ” means that my old life has “passed away” and I am changing into a new person. A truly born again Christian, will not continue living in sin. That is the message of the Bible and in Bambrick’s video.
In 1977, Larry Flynt, publisher of Hustler magazine, announced that he had become a born-again Christian thanks to the help of former President Jimmy Carter’s sister, Ruth Carter Stapleton who shared the gospel with him while on a plane. But Flint never stopped publishing pornography. There was no change.
In 1999, Christian-recording artist, Stephen Curtis Chapman wrote and sang a song called, “The Change.” The song points out that you can wear Jesus t-shirts, Jesus jewelry, put Jesus bumper stickers on your car, but ask yourself, “What about the change? What about the difference?.. What about a life that’s showing I’m undergoing the change.”
That change is the message that the “He Gets Us” ad campaign failed to communicate.
A Christian’s life should be defined as BC and AC – “Before Christ” and “After Christ.” Examine yourself today to see if you’ve changed.
