Russia Warns of ‘Fatal Consequences’

The Kremlin warned the United States Monday that it could face “fatal consequences” if it allows Ukraine to use U.S.-supplied weapons against targets inside Russia.

The warning comes after the White House authorized Ukraine to use U.S.-supplied weapons to defend the city of Kharkiv, near the Russian border.

A Russian official emphasized that Putin’s warning shouldn’t be taken lightly. “They underestimate the seriousness of the rebuff they may receive.”
