Arizona’s SunFed Produce has recalled cucumbers sold in 26 U.S. states, including Walmart, Wegmans, and Albertsons, due to potential salmonella contamination.
The recall affects cucumbers sold between October 12 and November 26, and found on store shelves in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, Alaska, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Florida, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Maryland, Minnesota, Missouri, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Washington, and Wisconsin.
Salmonella infections can cause fever, diarrhea, and stomach cramps, with symptoms appearing 6 hours to 6 days after ingestion and lasting 4 to 7 days.
