Tennessee’s last nights forecast had us experience first hand a powerful round of severe thunderstorms last night, which swept through the state and brought large hail, damaging winds, and tornadoes.
The storms began in western Tennessee around 9 p.m., reach the I-65 corridor by 11 p.m., and hit the Plateau by 2 a.m., with Middle Tennessee under an Enhanced Risk.
This dangerous nighttime event was anticipated to end before this morning sunrise.
On Wednesday, a new storm system is forecast to bring another threat of severe thunderstorms to parts of Tennessee, with a focus on areas from Nashville northward and westward.
