Simply calling yourself a Christian does not make you one. How you LIVE your life determines that. You can fool other people but you can’t fool the Lord.

Colossians 3:17. And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by Him.
~Ronald Reagan is quoted~
Politics and morality are inseparable. And as morality’s foundation is religion, religion and politics are necessarily related. We need religion as a guide. We need it because we are imperfect, and our government needs the church, because only those humble enough to admit they’re sinners can bring to democracy the tolerance it requires in order to survive.
~The Church~ has fundamentally moved away from a body whose main purpose is reaching of the lost with the gospel, into an entity that is centered around the growth and experiences of the individual Christian.
The church is to make spirit-filled disciples to witness and share the gospel. Many professing believers have good intentions and do good works in their communities, but what they often lack is Holy Spirit power.
They are simply trying to do God’s work in the flesh. Most have become cotton candy Christians lacking bible knowledge and totally unclear of Who the Holy Spirit is. We need to get back to Old good time Revivals preaching repentance, and building strong believers in the name of Jesus.
Let’s do what we can to preach the Word and be faithful with what the Lord has given us, being bolder in sharing the gospel and unashamed to stand up for Christ in a dark and evil culture.
If the church does not rediscover the biblical model that Jesus gave us, it will lead to the end of the church Jesus called us to shepherd. “Lord help us”.
