The Secretary of State’s office announced a historic voter turnout for the 2024 general election, with more than 3.08 million Tennesseans casting their ballots.
This includes a record-breaking 2.13 million votes cast in person during the early voting period, surpassing previous highs set in 2020.
“We are encouraged by the record number of voters who participated and made their voices heard, and we hope this upward trend in voter engagement continues in future elections,” Secretary of State Tre Hargett stated..
In the election, President-elect Donald Trump and JD Vance won Tennessee’s eleven Electoral College votes.
