Tonight’s full Harvest Moon is a rare combination of a partial lunar eclipse and a supermoon and has the potential to create a stunning spectacle for observers worldwide.
The moon’s path has brought it closer to the Earth, making it appear bigger and brighter than normal.
Around 8:40 p.m. EST, it will enter the Earth’s shadow, resulting in a supermoon and partial lunar eclipse.
Numerous viewing options are available for those unable to view it outdoors. The livestreams are here.
