Two new reports offer new details about deported Salvadoran illegal alien Kilmar Abrego Garcia. The news should further embarrass far-left Democrat Senator Chris Van Hollen and those who follow him to El Salvador to secure Garcia’s release from the nation’s terrorist confinement center. But alas, that news likely won’t dampen their ardor for Garcia.
The Tennessee Highway Patrol detained Garcia, whom the Democrats claim was wrongly deported, and suspected him of human trafficking, the Tennessee Star disclosed. President Joe Biden’s FBI ordered him released. Garcia’s vehicle was packed with seven passengers.
As well, Fox News obtained more details about his domestic violence case. The handwritten note from his wife, Jennifer Vasquez, depicts Garcia as a brutal wife beater.
That’s bad optics for Van Hollen and the Democrats, but they won’t likely care. Illegal aliens are the “people we care about most,” as one top Democrat said.

Booted back to El Salvador on March 15, Garcia is the latest cause célèbre of the Democrats. They claim he was wrongly deported. As well, they believe, the Trump administration is unlawfully defying a ruling from the U.S. Supreme Court that supposedly ordered his return.
When Van Hollen traveled to El Salvador to demand his release, the government of President Nayib Bukele wisely told him to pound sand. Van Hollen has warned that more Democrats will follow.
“I may be the first member of Congress here, but I can assure you more will be coming,” Van Hollen warned the nation’s vice president.

Now Van Hollen and the other Garcia fangirls who land in El Salvador must deal with the latest revelations.
A state highway patrolman stopped him “for an unknown reason on December 6, 2022,” the Tennessee Star reported, “and that the THP officer responsible for the stop immediately discovered Abrego Garcia was transporting seven passengers, with eight individuals inside the vehicle.”
Garcia was driving without a valid license, a not-uncommon crime among illegals. In Tennessee, the crime is a misdemeanor punished with a fine and jail time.
Something about the traffic stop caused concern in the mind of the THP officer that other law enforcement agencies should be alerted. One source told The Star that THP ultimately discovered Abrego Garcia was on a terrorist watch list, but could not locate Abrego Garcia on a deportation list. Another source told The Star that THP did not discover Abrego Garcia on a terrorist watch list but that another one of the seven passengers in the vehicle may have been on a terrorist watch list.
When the highway patrol called the FBI, it told the cops to photograph the vehicle’s occupants and record its contents, the Star reported:
Once the photographs were captured, this source told The Star that the FBI requested THP release all eight individuals and that the THP officers complied with this request.
The Star learned that the circumstances of the stop made the THP officer responsible for the stop concerned that Abrego Garcia was engaged in human trafficking, but that Abrego Garcia and his passengers were nonetheless released at the request of the FBI.
The Star knows the identity of the officer but is withholding the information.
Garcia, sources told the Star, was transporting the seven passengers from Texas to Maryland. An obvious conclusion about the passengers: Like Garcia, they were illegal aliens.

Aside from that unwelcome news, the Garcia Fan Club must digest more details about his domestic-violence case. Contrary to what his wife, Jennifer Vasquez, says now in trying to raise money on GoFundMe, he is, she told cops, a vicious abuser.

In August 2020, he socked her in the eye and left a purple shiner, she alleged. In November 2020, he bashed her with a “work boot,” her complaint alleged.
On May 4, 2021, she told cops, “I was watching on my laptop, and he yelled to turn it off, I told him I wasn’t sleepy, he got angry, reached over shut and threw my laptop on the floor, and the baby started to cry because he was putting pressure on him. My [immediate] reaction was to push him off of us, and then he punched, scratched me on my left eye, leaving me bleeding.”
But Garcia wasn’t finished. Later that day, the distraught Vasquez reported, an angry Garcia ripped her clothes off. He chased her as she fled to the bathroom. Garcia grabbed her arm, she alleged. “I have marks on my left arm as well,” she wrote.
Continued Vasquez:
I’m afraid to be close to him. I have multiple photos/videos of how [violent] he can be and all the bruises he has left me.
“Kilmar is an excellent father,” the GoFundMe website reports of Vasquez’s lament on his deportation. And, she says, he is “my life partner.”
“To anybody that can hear my voice,” she said, “help us by calling your legislators to bring awareness to my husband’s case and demand they do everything they can to bring Kilmar home and protect all immigrant families, who too can also be disappeared, in the blink of an eye, like my husband was.”
Still, Vasquez is lucky that Van Hollen and other Democrats are on her side. As far-left Democrat Senator Chris Murphy said, illegal aliens are “the people we care about most.”
