The Tennessee Firearms Association sent out its 2024 Election Survey to all candidates a few weeks ago by mail. We mailed to every candidate that had qualified according to the Tennessee Secretary of State as of the time of the mailing.
The deadline for returning the survey, which is required to be mailed and post-marked is May 10, 2024.
If you are a candidate or candidate advisor make sure that you have responded or do respond timely to the 2024 survey or your failure will be noted as a “refused to answer.”
If you are a voter and you want to see the survey responses from those candidates running in the elections that you will have the chance to vote in, contact those candidates and remind them that your vote will or may be influenced by their survey responses (or refusal to respond). After all, how could any reasonable candidate even ask for your consideration and vote if they will not respond to a survey on where they stand on the Second Amendment issues in Tennessee?
