Some days, it is hard to imagine that I’ve been doing this for five years now. Certainly, it is nothing but God’s hand of provision that has kept the organization funded since day one.
Never would I have dreamed that Tennessee Stands could have made the impact it has had over these years. And I do believe that its impact will continue. Most importantly, because the work is not yet done.
I’m coming to you today with a rare ask. We need your help.
Right now, year-to-date, our funding is down 27%. I believe there are a few reasons for this besides economic hardship. I’ve personally seen a major shift in engagement since November. God gave us a national reprieve, and thankfully, we’ve got President Trump back in the White House pushing forward with his America First agenda. But now is not the time to back down. This is when we push. This is when we take ground.
Naturally, many feel as if the fight is over. We’ve won. And our future is secure. That is probably the hardest part of my job. Reasonably so, many people remain laser-focused on national politics. But that is not where liberty for our families and our way of life is ultimately secured. I continue to believe with certainty that our fight remains in the states. And my mission is to get Tennesseans engaged in that fight.
Aside from being down overall, only 29% of our monthly financial need is made up by recurring donors. The remainder comes from occasional one-time contributions and other fundraising efforts.
Why am I sharing this with you? Because I need your help.
If you are able, and if you appreciate what we do at Tennessee Stands, I am asking you to setup a monthly recurring gift with us. We can’t do this without you.
Can 100 people commit to $100 per month? Could 2,000 people commit to giving $5 per month? And yet, these numbers are only a fraction of the amount of people that take action with Tennessee Stands and follow our work.
Don’t discount the fact that many hands make light work. A gift of any amount moves the ball down the court.
