Creates exceptions for abortion by broadening subjective medical definitions.
OPPOSE Abortion – As introduced, defines the terms “serious risk of substantial and irreversible impairment of a major bodily function” and “lethal fetal anomaly”; specifies that a physician does not commit the offense of criminal abortion if, under certain circumstances, the physician performs or attempts to perform an abortion to address a lethal fetal anomaly or a premature delivery of an unborn child with a lethal fetal anomaly.
Protects private property rights by requiring search warrants.
SUPPORT Search & Seizure – As introduced, requires officials who are employed or contracted by the federal government, the state government, or a local government within this state, or an agency or department thereof, to obtain a search warrant that identifies the person or property that is the subject of the search before entering private property, unless a judicially recognized exception to the warrant requirement exists.
