The leaves change and they fall

The leaves change and they fall

Hopefully snow will greet us during this holiday time.

Even the animals find this time of year hard to resist.

Once again God and his ultimate grace have shown us the beauty of the season. Hopefully we will stop to watch it all.

I wanted to take this opportunity to recount the blessings of this year and with the coming of Thanksgiving and Christmas and a hope for the future.

First, I am thankful for all of you, whether we are friends or competitors because without you, I could not be me.

I am thankful for the years that I had the opportunity to be with my parents; I wouldn’t trade that for the greatest of careers any where else.

I am thankful for Sally who brightens even the darkest of days and tempers my edge. She is the sun and the moon in my life.

I am thankful for her parents that taught her about the important parts of life.

I was blessed to have Chris and Rachael and Dannee and Chuck and for all of my nephews nieces and grandchildren.

I am thankful for my brothers and sister for giving me a hard time and at the same time they teaching me to grow.

I am thankful for all the animals in our lives because they taught me patience and love absolute as well as a little about animal husbandry.

I am thankful for all those individuals that imparted ample amounts of wisdom to me be they teachers or friends.

I am thankful for being born southern, what a wonderful why to grow up.

So, as the year winds down, rest and get ready for a wild and wonderful 2025.

For all that you do, and all that you will do I give thanks.

May the Lord look upon you and smile.
