There was a period in this country when men who wanted to dress up like women would do it discreetly and everyone went about their lives with perhaps some raised eyebrows and J. Edgar Hoover references.
But then, the men — and it is mostly progressive white dudes, which is why we are forced to care about it — decided they were really women and we all needed to know it.
Then they got on TikTok and made wild claims that they were having periods. And some neurotic white women got involved as well for the attention — it was mostly white people at first, if we’re honest about it. And those white women decided they would start taking testosterone shots, grow out their facial hair, and berate people who said only women could get pregnant.
Then, the press corps, always on the left, started changing words. So pregnant woman had to become pregnant person and breast feeding had to become chest feeding. And it got really creepy and weird how quickly so many on the left just simply embraced this new speak.
Then dudes who sucked at sports realized that without chopping off their penises they could identify as girls, take some estrogen, and steal scholarships from real girls. And the press corps and the nutters berated us for daring to point out biological differences between men and women that exist after puberty, even when the dudes have loaded up on estrogen.
Now, normal sane Americans are forced to take diversity classes in businesses that teach them if a dude with a visible Adam’s apple says he uses she/her pronouns, you will get punished if you refuse to go along with their insanity. God forbid, in a college classroom, you call the obvious girl “she” instead of “they.” You’ll get frogmarched to the front of the room and disciplined by the woke professor.
They’re not crazy. You’re a bigot.
There is no halfway point here. There is no middle ground. We’re not allowed to raise an eyebrow and politely move on. People don’t want to hae this fight. But they are forced too. People would like to just be polite and move on and maybe call the man a “she” because he did a great job with his surgery and fooled everyone instead of flaunting it. But now, either we go to war against biology and the English language, or we embrace sanity. The transactivists demand it.
Tim McBride may have legally changed his name to Sarah McBride so I will call him Sarah, but I will not change his pronouns. He is not a she. Progressives have lectured us forever that we are not to impose our values on others; now, they insist their insanity be imposed on me, and I am forced to abandon my values, biology, and the English language to placate the mental illness of a narcissistic man.
In fact, so much of the transgender movement is premised on narcissism — manifested in a way to exert power over others to punish them if they do not embrace that narcissism.
Sarah McBride is a member of Congress who should be treated with respect by virtue of his office and being a human being. But he wants to impose his worldview on others. The exception demands to be the rule. He does not just want everyone to bend to his whims, his pronouns, and his mental issues — he wants to be accepted as something he is not, and all of Heaven and earth must be moved to accommodate his particular mental illness.
We went from being told gay people are born that way and we should shun any therapy to convert them to being told trans people are not born the way they were meant to be and we should provide them every bit of conversion possible, including converting our own senses to make them feel normal.
Nancy Mace is right. Sarah McBride should be accommodated, if possible, with a unisex bathroom. But the “trans” before “woman” means Sarah McBride is not the latter, and the rest of us should not be forced to abandon our values, convictions, and basic biology to accommodate his mental illness.
Nancy Mace was the first woman to graduate from the Citadel. She made history and broke through a glass ceiling. Sarah McBride now wants men to fill the space created by actual feminists like Mace. And the press — champions of women — are vilifying Mace for championing women instead of men masquerading as women. Again, “trans” definitionally means not a woman, which is why soon the press will insist “trans” is verboten and the man is become woman despite biological impossibility.
