On July 4th, 248 years ago, the Second Continental Congress adopted the Declaration of Independence. Breaking off all ties with Great Britain — which had been serially violating the God-given rights that governments are supposed to protect — the Declaration pronounced the thirteen colonies as “Free and Independent States.”
From the very beginning — as shown by the Declaration of Independence — our nation has been based on the essential principles that all our rights come from God and are unalienable, and that the purpose of government is to protect those rights. By adhering to these fundamental principles, America became the most unique and prosperous country in world history.
However, our nation’s independence and freedom are under attack once again — this time, by the Conspiracy working to abolish our founding principles while establishing a one-world government. One of its chief tools is the United Nations, an international organization designed to help bring about a one-world government. The UN and its associated agencies continue in pursuit of that globalist and godless goal.
The United States must withdraw from the UN before it’s too late — and legislation has been introduced in the current (118th) Congress to do just that. H.R. 6645 and S. 3428, titled the “Disengaging Entirely From the United Nations Debacle Act (DEFUND) Act,” would withdraw us from the UN and its associated agencies such as the World Health Organization and UNESCO. Congress must support and enact the DEFUND Act.
On this Independence Day, let’s defend the independence of our great nation by promoting the DEFUND Act to our congressmen and fellow citizens.
