Tren de Aragua Crime Surges in Tennessee

The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation is warning residents of Nashville, Memphis, Knoxville, and Chattanooga about a surge in Tren de Aragua gang violence.

The notorious gang has expanded criminal activity beyond human trafficking in those areas, and it’s now also committing retail crime theft and murder in broad daylight, taking on drug cartels in what TBI Director David Rausch described as “very violent, bloody battles.”

Tennessee Representative and Chairman of the House Homeland Security Committee Mark Green released a statement Friday commending the TBI for sounding the alarm and expressing his support for the incoming Trump-Vance administration’s agenda to “restore order at our borders, revamp interior enforcement, and bring safety back to our communities.”
