No flags other than that of the United States (and two others related to the country’s military) are to be flown or displayed at any of the country’s embassies or outposts, according to a new policy ordered by President Donald Trump and implemented by the State Department.
The new order, known as the “One Flag Policy,” was issued on Monday, the Washington Free Beacon reported. It meant that Black Lives Matter, LGBT pride flags, or any other ones associated with left-wing propaganda were no longer permitted to fly over U.S. government buildings anywhere in the world. It was the latest act implemented by Trump during a busy first two days to eliminate wokeness from government institutions.
“Starting immediately, only the United States of America flag is authorized to be flown or displayed at U.S. facilities, both domestic and abroad, and featured in U.S. government content,” the new policy states.
