UNLV Refuses to Protect Women Volleyball Players from Trans Star

(Chuck Muth) – It’s right there in the name of the league: Mountain West WOMEN’S Volleyball.  It’s also right there in the name of the team: UNLV WOMEN’S Volleyball.

I know some Democrats have trouble defining what a “woman” is, but for the rest of us it’s pretty cut and dried.  And Blaire Fleming is not a woman.  He’s a transgender man pretending to be a woman.

He’s also the star player on San Jose State University’s (SJSU) WOMEN’S volleyball team, which is undefeated at 9-0.  Fleming, at 6-foot-1, is the team’s “outside hitter” who “is second on the team with 199 kills this season.”

On Tuesday, Wyoming became the fourth team – joining Boise State, Utah State, and Southern Utah – which has forfeited its game against SJSU rather than play against a man and risk injury to any of its WOMEN players.

Good.

The risk is real.  Click here to watch a biological male, playing in a girl’s high school volleyball game, spike the ball in a real girl’s face, resulting in “severe head and neck injuries resulting in long-term concussion symptoms.”

WLOS reported that the young girl “is still recovering from her injuries and continues to face other health struggles as a result of what happened, such as impaired vision, partial paralysis on the right side of her body, constant headaches, anxiety and depression.”

Which brings us to UNLV.

The UNLV WOMEN’S volleyball team is scheduled to play against Mr. Fleming and SJSU on October 12.  It *should* join the boycott and help bring an end to this foolishness.

Alas, UNLV has a Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) department.  So it came as no surprise when I read this morning that the LADY Rebels intend to play against the team with the dude despite the obvious disadvantage and heightened risk of injury.

If you’re going to let men compete in women’s sports, then get rid of women’s sports altogether and make everything co-ed. This idea that biological men can unfairly play against biological women is insane no matter how hard the left tries to justify it.

UNLV should join Wyoming, Boise State, Utah State, and Southern Utah in boycotting its upcoming game vs. SJSU unless Mr. Fleming is sidelined.
