Voter ID Approved for November’s Ballot!

(David Gibbs | Repair the Vote PAC) – Repair The Vote PAC is delighted to announce the official validation of 185,573 signatures in support of the Voter ID ballot initiative.

This accomplishment confirms the widespread public endorsement and bipartisan support of this critical measure and propels the initiative forward to the November ballot. Nevadans will now have the opportunity to make their voices heard on this momentous initiative.

The initiative will seek that each voter in Nevada will present photo identification when voting in person at polling places, and if voting by mail, requires the last four digits of their Nevada driver’s license or social security number.

This measure aims to bolster the integrity and confidence of the electoral process. This is the first line of defense against fraud and a basic way of ensuring that every vote is legitimate.

“We are elated to have met another massive milestone in this process; now it is up to Nevadans.,” said David Gibbs, Chairman of Repair The Vote PAC. “The validation of 185,573 signatures underscores the strong support from citizens across the Silver State who are committed to protecting the sanctity of our voting system.

“We are one step closer to enacting this vital reform.”

The validation process, conducted by state and county election officials, confirmed that the signatures submitted exceeded the required threshold, demonstrating robust public backing.

We thank the Secretary of State’s office as well as all of the county officials who assisted and executed this process.

In the months leading up to the election, Repair The Vote PAC will intensify efforts to educate voters about the benefits of the Voter ID, engage with communities, and advocate for its passage.

We remain steadfast in our mission to safeguard our democratic process and ensure the integrity of our elections.
