It’s time to “Make Health Care Great Again.” Trump is not yet in the White House, but world leaders and others are already taking actions in response to his re-election – actions we would never have seen in a Harris presidency.
With a trifecta in place, we have two years to secure two important health freedom rights: The right to buy real health insurance and the right to opt out of Medicare without losing Social Security benefits. The Senate is up for grabs in 2026.
Trump’s health care nominees may not even realize how these two rights will secure health freedom long-term, but we plan to make sure they know.
We’ve already sent our first shot across the bow – an Open Letter to Trump – requesting a 15-minute meeting. Next up: RFK. We’ll soon begin a full-court press to get those meetings because time is short, and our voice is key. Some people that have Trump’s ear (or RFK’s ear) have ideas that will NOT “make health care great again.”
For example, Dr. Janette Nesheiwat, MD, nominated to be Surgeon General, was a proponent of censoring voices that opposed the Covid shot.
Dr. Mehmet Oz, MD, a cardiologist and television personality, was nominated to be the head of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. In a June 2020 Forbes article, Dr. Oz pushed “Medicare Advantage for All” to save health care in America.
This means a national health care system using health plan corporations already denying medically-necessary, Medicare-approved care to seniors. He suggested a 20% payroll tax to pay for it. This should never happen (as we explain in our new Medicare How-To Guide).
CCHF is working to bring real health freedom to America. It’s time to get back to the mission of medicine: the patient. CCHF is working to bring:
- Patient-centeredness back to care,
- Affordability back to care and coverage,
- Trust back to patients, and
- Joy back to doctors.
Time is short. We will be working hard to get the administration’s ear.
Your year-end investment in the work of CCHF will allow us to work TOGETHER for health freedom in America. We’ve got a lot of work to do. Please DONATE before December 31.
Wishing you a very Merry Christmas!
