The former mayor of San Luis, Arizona, pled guilty to ballot fraud and was subsequently sent to jail after she was videotaped illegally collecting and filling out ballots right outside of a polling place during the 2020 election cycle.
But this story has a bit of a twist—because even more surprising than the former mayor going to jail for ballot fraud, is what happened to the political careers of several of the women implicated alongside her.
