PresidentJoe Biden and President-elect Donald Trump will meet Wednesday in the Oval Office, the White House announced on Saturday.
In a speech on Thursday, Biden said he assured Trump “that I would direct my entire administration to work with his team to ensure a peaceful and orderly transition.”
The traditional post-election meeting of the incoming and outgoing presidents will take place at 11:00 ET.
Trump will become the second president to serve two non-consecutive terms when he becomes the nation’s 47th president. The other was Grover Cleveland, the 22nd and 24th.
