EPA Sets Electric Car Quota

The Government driving the economy to Hell …..

The Biden administration released revised automobile emissions standards Wednesday, requiring 56% of all new vehicle sales to be electric by 2032.

A previous proposal by the government for 67% of new cars to be electric by 2032 was called “unworkable” by automakers. Overall, EV sales have slowed, and questions persist about the cost, range, and availability of public charging stations.

The White House effort to impose strict emission standards also demands 13% of new passenger cars to be plug-in hybrids.

Critics believe the EPA’s authority to dictate emissions limits could be challenged in the courts. A 2022 ruling by the Supreme Court limited the EPA’s ability to regulate carbon dioxide emissions from power plants.
