That’s right.
He claimed American hog farmers are a greater threat to democracy than Al Qaeda and said as much just months after the terror attack of September 11, 2001.
He has used leftwing non-profits to harass farms across the country.
He called the National Rifle Association a terror group.
He believes those who support fossil fuels are guilty of treason and should be jailed.
He has advocated for global legislation that would punish anyone who questions climate change.
He said he wouldn’t take sides on 9/11.
He also said there should be no restrictions on abortion up until birth.
He is President Donald Trump’s nominee for Secretary of Health and Human Services, Robert F. Kennedy, Jr.
“If you’re not willing to stand up to the left on abortion, you can’t be trusted on anything else. The pro-life position is the pro-people position and I’m proud to be 100% pro-life.”
— Vice President J. D. Vance, March for Life, January 24, 2025
If Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. is a new convert to the right, he should be in charge of nothing. St. Paul cautioned the Church not to put new converts in positions of authority. “He must not be a recent convert, or he may become puffed up with conceit and fall into the condemnation of the devil.” (1 Timothy 3:6 ESV).
The same applies in life generally.
If Kennedy is a new convert, he should not be put in charge of the largest share of the federal budget.
If Kennedy has not converted, he is too dangerous to put in charge of the largest share of the federal budget, let alone the presidential line of succession.
And ultimately, Vice President Vance is right: “If you’re not willing to stand up to the left on abortion, you can’t be trusted on anything else.”
This is Robert Kennedy, Jr. less than a year ago. I don’t believe he’s a new convert to the pro-life cause. “I wouldn’t leave it to the states,” he says of abortion. “Even if it’s full term.”
Pro-lifers, you need to fight against this nomination. Senators need to reject Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. for Secretary of Health and Human Services.
