The Kendi/Jones race-bait tag team — a match made in hell.

“In disquisitions of every kind there are certain primary truths, or first principles, upon which all subsequent reasoning must depend.”
Alexander Hamilton (1788)

We keep close tabs on the leftist hate hustlers who have weaseled their way into academies of “higher education.” Leading that pack is Ibram Xolani Kendi, a.k.a. Henry Rogers.
He’s the ethnocentric purveyor of the critical race theory fraud that metastasized from the New York Times’s specious and historically fallacious “1619 Project.” That was authored by another ethnocentric hater, Nikole Sheri Hannah-Jones — who received a Pulitzer Prize for that charade.
Over the last decade, Kendi has been employed by six universities, including SUNY Oneonta, SUNY Albany, Brown University, the University of Florida, American University, and since 2020 he has been indoctrinating his lemmings as a “professor of history” at Boston University.
Kendi is a consummate black supremacist agitator in the tradition of Louis “Calypso Louie” Farrakhan. He’s also a prolific fundraiser in the shakedown tradition of Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson, whose model is tantamount to extortion.
Disgracefully, on arrival at BU, Kendi was awarded the university’s Andrew W. Mellon Professorship in the Humanities; notably, the only other recipient was Holocaust survivor, author, and Nobel Peace Prize laureate Elie Wiesel. I guess the message is that Kendi survived the faux gauntlet of “systemic racism” and, thus, shares equal standing with Wiesel.
For the last four years, BU has hosted his so-called Center for Antiracist Research, a race-bait racket that quickly became a cash cow for those seeking to appease Kendi’s constituency. In its first year, Kendi raked in almost $35 million, $10 million of which came from former Twitter/X cofounder Jack Dorsey.
As our analyst Thomas Gallatin observed: “Riding the outpouring of ‘antiracism’ virtue signaling, Kendi’s center received millions of dollars in donations. … Not only was Kendi riding high off his book sales — a book in which he promoted critical race theory as if it were the Gospel — but he was also raking in millions from white leftists seeking any way to purge themselves of white guilt.”
But Kendi’s cancerous curriculum has not been without its challenges.

In 2023, after having burned through some $43 million in donor funds in three years, Kendi had, predictably, produced next to nothing in terms of scholarly research. Such is the case when race hustlers get a pass on accountability, largely because of what George W. Bush called “the soft bigotry of low expectations.”
In November 2023, as Kendi’s outfit neared collapse, BU launched investigations into financial irregularities. I wrote at the time, “If BU administrators had any academic integrity, they would sunset Kendi’s charade before it suffers the same fate as its kissing cousin, the race-bait Marxist front Black Lives Matter, which also raised hundreds of millions but folded in disgrace.”
Of course, BU found “no issues” with the management of Kendi’s Antiracist Center, and Kendi decried the investigation as “racist.” He complained, “It is unfortunate that individuals near and far spread a false narrative about a Black leader taking or mismanaging funds.”
Two months later, Kendi celebrated the 2024 New Year by protesting, “Racist mobs won’t stop until they topple all black people from positions of power and influence who are not reinforcing the structure of racism.”
Apparently, BU’s racist mob administrators did not get the message because they celebrated the 2025 New Year by toppling Kendi’s kingdom and not renewing the charter for his race-bait antiracist racket.
Not surprisingly, Kendi is taking his dog and pony show to Howard University, where he will become director of its new Institute for Advanced Study to promote interdisciplinary research of the African diaspora. Yes, all those words mean exactly nothing. But Howard hopes its new hire will bring a much-needed infusion of cash.
Now, after dispensing with almost $55 million at BU in four years, this will be Kendi’s third attempt to launch an “antiracism” center to propagate his racial-grievance grift.
Of his new job at the historic black college, Kendi proclaimed: “When you think about the Black scholars and Black thinkers who have contributed so much to my way of thinking, it’s hard to not think about Howard. It’s the most fulfilling career choice I’ve ever made.” I am sure he meant that as an endorsement, not a condemnation of Howard.
Political analyst Steven Hayward concludes, “Hunch: the ‘specifics’ will never be finalized. It will be just the latest locale for Kendi’s floating crap game.”
So, it’s off to DC.
Oh, did I mention that in 2021, the aforementioned 1619 fiction writer Nikole Hannah-Jones became the inaugural occupant of the Knight Chair in Race and Journalism at — wait for it! — Howard University?
The Kendi/Jones race-bait tag-team of history hoaxers at Howard U — a match made in hell.
For context, the race-bait hate hustle has been around for more than a century.
In his 1901 book Up From Slavery, Booker T. Washington concluded: “Great men cultivate love. … Only little men cherish a spirit of hatred.”
Six decades later, that theme would be renewed by civil rights leader Martin Luther King. In 1963, King concluded his timeless “I Have a Dream” speech by asserting the need to focus on character over color: “I have a dream that my four children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character. … And if America is to be a great nation this must become true.”

Today, despite the fact that the Democrat Party claims King’s legacy, and Democrats argue they are the sole protectors of his “dream,” they have turned King’s message upside down as if King had declared people should be judged “by the color of their skin, not the content of their character.” In doing so, they also turned his dream into a nightmare. Their failed statist “Great Society” programs have enslaved generations of poor, mostly black Americans on urban poverty plantations that are plagued with violence.
Fact is, the most consequential “systemic racism” in America is the institutionalization of the Democrat Party platform, which has, by design, kept poor people in bondage to the welfare state and, consequently, is the blueprint for the most enduring racial exploitation architecture in America. Democrats are the historical architects and political beneficiaries of systemic racism.
Kendi and Jones have built their empires promoting “a spirit of hatred.” They are the epitome of those race agitators whom Booker Washington described in his 1911 book, My Larger Education — those who “make a business of keeping the troubles, the wrongs, and the hardships” of black people “before the public.”
Of such hustlers, Washington added: “Having learned that they are able to make a living out of their troubles, they have grown into the settled habit of advertising their wrongs — partly because they want sympathy and partly because it pays. … There is a certain class of race-problem solvers who do not want the patient to get well, because as long as the disease holds out they have not only an easy means of making a living, but also an easy medium through which to make themselves prominent before the public.” He concluded, “A lie doesn’t become truth, wrong doesn’t become right and evil doesn’t become good just because it’s accepted by a majority.”
But that certainly has not stopped the Left from relentlessly propagating BIG Lies. Kendi and Jones are among the biggest prevaricators of race-bait rhetoric.
