Merry Christmas

I thought this worthy of sharing… Many of us who try to educate family and some friends can appreciate what OldDog has to say.

Unfortunately, many of my personal friends and family members are not on my web site mailing list, and remain uninformed about what has taken complete control of my life these last eleven, [and for good reason.]

Early on, I learned the hard way that I was pursuing an impossible task, and decided to avoid involving most friends and family in order to preserve good relations as much as possible. However, the condition of America, and the preservation of our way of life is now in the last days, and I request of all people everywhere to set aside a few hours per week to become informed on what is in your future, by visiting the site above as much as possible and start preparing for the changes you will soon experience.

This endeavor has not made me a popular person, because most people would rather avoid bad news, but to wake up one day and find yourself in a strange new and threatening world will be a terrible shock that can be avoided with a little self discipline.

This letter will not take you on that journey, because it must come from your own self interest to learn what I’m writing about, and you can do that by absorbing the information that I have spent thousands of hours collecting on my two sites.

What I do want to address today is that everyone receiving this letter has in some way contributed to making my life better, and I want to express my appreciation and affection to all I have failed. One way to do that is for you to read the short article below and meditate on it long and hard. Make it something you reflect on daily, and know that all of us have the opportunity to inherit a joyful eternity.

See to it that no one takes you captive through hollow and deceptive philosophy, which depends on human tradition and the basic principles of this world rather than on Christ.

A wise man has great power, and a man of knowledge increases strength; for waging war you need guidance [the Scriptures], and for victory many advisers [the teaching of God-fearing men].

From the days of John the Baptist until now, the kingdom of heaven has been forcefully advancing, and forceful men lay hold of it [not feel-good, easy-believism]. Anyone who lives on milk, is not acquainted with the teaching about righteousness.

But solid food is for the mature, who by constant [use of the Scriptures] have trained themselves to distinguish good from evil. [Col 2:8; Pro 24:5-6; Mat 11:12; Heb 5:13-14 NIV]

The summary of this is Php 2:12: “Continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling” [and the context is] through your reliance upon Christ – who will accomplish His will through you, holding firmly to the Scriptures.
