Chattanooga police say an attempted robbery ended with the suspect being shot on Tuesday morning.
It happened around 10:40am at Walgreens on East Brainerd Road.
Chattanooga Police say the suspect tried to rob the truck while it was making a stop at the store. Officers say one of the truck’s personnel then shot the suspect.
Police say the suspect went to the hospital and is expected to be OK. The truck personnel were not hurt.
The names of the suspect and victim are unknown.
The charges against the suspect have not been released.
