Behind the mask of President Biden’s Green New Deal is China’s President Xi Jinping. He’s the one who benefits the most. Seriously, if Biden was trying to destroy America in order to pave the way for China’s energy dominance, he couldn’t find a better plan than the Green New Deal.
Last week, Biden met with Xi at the the APEC Summit in San Francisco after Gov. Newsom had the streets power-washed to remove the homeless, their feces and drug needles.
The leaders discussed global issues, fair trade and possibly a future Hunter Biden pay-to-play business deal. Since Biden’s inauguration, he has bowed the knee to China. Why? Could it be that he’s been bought?
How do you explain the Biden administration’s easing of sanctions, that have allowed Iranian oil sales to China? These sales enabled Iran to fund anti-Israel terrorists like Hamas and Hezbollah.
VIDEO – Konstantin Kisin delivered this speech at Jordan Peterson’s Alliance for Responsible Citizenship (ARC). This powerful synopsis of the state of the world is very good. It’s only 12.47 minutes and I hope you’ll watch it. But there is one glaring omission that would have made his speech great. I explain below.
MY RESPONSE TO KISIN’S SPEECH
Kisin begins his speech with a thought-provoking quote from Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn.
“The strength or weakness of a society depends more on the level of its spiritual life than on its level of industrialization. Neither a market economy nor even general abundance constitutes the crowning achievement of human life. If a nation’s spiritual energies have been exhausted, it will not be saved from collapse by the most perfect government structure or by any industrial development. A tree with a rotten core cannot stand.”
I hadn’t heard this quote before but it sounds like something that Solzhenitsyn would have said. Unfortunately, Kisin doesn’t expound upon the deep meaning of the quote. Instead he made a joke. This was a missed opportunity.
Then Kisin said, “after watching crowds openly celebrate mass murder on the streets of our cities, after watching the police spend more time debating Islamic theology on Twitter than enforcing the law, I am starting to lose faith. I don’t know how long our civilization will survive. For years now, many of us have been warning that the barbarians are at the gates. We were wrong. They’re inside.”
That’s strong.
Kisin called out the world of business, reminding them that “ALL DEATH IS CERTAIN.” He said, “We are in the fight of our lives. There is no greater return on your investments than to protect and preserve our civilization.”
I disagree. Individuals are more important than civilization. And the Bible says your greatest return on your investment is not in this world but in the next. While we all should do our part to make this world a better place, the greatest commandments are to “love God and love your neighbor as yourself.
Kisin repeats several times in his speech, “We are in the fight of our lives.” And he ends his speech with this:
We do not get to choose whether to die or not. The only choice we have is whether we LIVE before we do.”
That’s a nice soundbite but it doesn’t offer any real hope. Since DEATH is an enemy we can’t escape, the real question is where will you spend eternity after you die?
Kisin said that he was asked to offer a positive vision for Western civilization in his speech. But his “LIVE before we (die)” isn’t very positive. Therefore, here’s my suggestion.
Kisin should have finished where he started by quoting Solzhenitsyn and saying:
“Solzhenitsyn was right. “The strength or weakness of a society depends more on the level of its spiritual life than on its level of industrialization…”
And “a tree with a rotten core cannot stand.”
The problems of the world today are the result of being spiritually dead. We are just like a tree with a rotten core and we will eventually fall. And no man-made institution can fix what is wrong in the heart of people. That takes a spiritual birth and only God can do that.
Therefore, our only hope as a nation is a spiritual revival. If we want God to bless America again, then we must Repent of our national sins and Return to our Creator — the God of the Bible.
I hope Kisin adds this message to his speech next time.
