Dramatic video captures Israeli naval commandos retaking Gaza border post

Dramatic video has been released of the Israel Defense Forces’ elite naval commando unit recapturing a military post on the Gaza border from Hamas.

The footage shows members of Flotilla 13 – the Shayetet – rushing through the Sufa base, where they killed some of the terrorists and took others captive on Saturday, the day Hamas launched its attack on Israel.

“The soldiers rescued around 250 hostages alive,” the IDF said on X, adding that more than 60 “Hamas terrorists were neutralized and 26 were apprehended.”

Those captured included Muhammad Abu A’ali, the deputy commander of the Hamas southern Naval Division,” the IDF said.

“Shayetet, Shayetet, stay in the bunker, we’re coming!” one of the commandos calls in Hebrew out to Golani Brigade infantry soldiers who were hunkering down at the site.
