Vice President Kamala Harris made history again. She became the first vice president to visit an abortion clinic. As Jerry Newcombe points out here, she likely was spared the ‘bloody mess’ in the back room.
If this is the democrats big campaign issue, then by all means take the cameras into the back room and show the world the ‘bloody mess.’
Kamala says, “The government should not be telling women what to do with their body.” That is a typical leftist science-denying talking point. The science is settled. Abortion ends the life of a human baby. The baby’s body in the womb is NOT a part of the woman’s body. It is a new human being with its own DNA growing within his or her mother.
The reason liberals support abortion is because they are spiritually blind. They know that the child in the womb is NOT a blob of tissue. They just don’t want to admit that it is a baby. If they did that then they would have to admit that abortion is infanticide.
Author, Cal Thomas writes, “Abortion is a moral, medical, and political issue. Republicans can fight back on all three levels because they hold the high ground on each one.”
Ultrasound technology has been effective in persuading some young mothers to not abort their child. But many abortion supporters have hardened their hearts and refuse to change their mind about child sacrifice no matter what evidence you give them.
When the hearts of people are hardened and they can’t see the truth because they have been blinded by demonic forces (2 Corinthians 4:4), scientific facts and reason are ineffective. Praying for God to intervene is a much more powerful weapon.
